A "raw food smoothie" is a mixture of seeds, grains, fruits and vegetables. The fruit helps mask the taste of other raw ingredients that wouldn't taste very good blended by themselves. This is different from a "green smoothie", because it adds more than just fruit and leafy greens. Below, the tools, ingredients and recipes.
After Blended
RAW VANILLA DATE ALMOND MILK
1 cup soaked almonds
(Soak in a bowl in the refrigerator overnight and rinse before using)
3 cups water,
vanilla bean, seeds scooped out
3-5 soft pitted dates (or soak hard dates in water for 1/2 hour) or
other sweetener to taste such as honey or stevia
To make raw almond milk blend the soaked almonds with the water until smooth. Then strain the mixture through sprout bag, cheesecloth, or strainer into a big bowl. Save the almond pulp in a container and put in the refrigerator for later use.
Put the almond milk back into the blender carafe and blend in the vanilla seeds and dates or other sweetener until smooth. This milk will last in the refrigerator for about 3-5 days. Shake well before using. Variation: Blend in a banana and use a pinch of nutmeg.
CASHEW-ALMOND WHIPPED CREAM
- 1 cup almonds and-or cashews
¾ cup water
1 Tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
½ teaspoon vanilla (optional)
For the smoothest consistency, use cashews or peeled almonds. Because of their alkaline nature, almonds helps with blood consistency. - Soak 1 cup of almonds or cashews in 2 cups of water. If you're in a very warm climate, soak them in your refrigerator. After 8-12 hours, discard the soaking water and rinse the nuts. In a blender, place the nuts and enough fresh water to allow the blender to operate. Blend, gradually adding enough water to achieve a smooth consistency. Yields 1 ½ - 1 ¾ cups.

Bee pollen, banana, goji, orange juice, strawberry, coconut.
JUICES
Liver detox juice (Appel ginger, beeet, lemon, aloe vera, milk thistle)
Energy juice (lemon, ginber, oregano oio, garlic, cayenne, maca)
